Meet the team behind Bean Scene and our Kitchen Collective members.
Peter Gubin, Operations Coordinator, has been a lifelong champion of sustainability, having formed the basis of what is now New York’s Recycling Program while still in high school. Slightly obsessed with composting, Peter contends that without soil, there is no food. And we sure do think he’s right! Peter holds a BBA in Business Administration from Baruch College at the City University of New York (CUNY). Peter also has a rich and varied background in art, music, journalism, antiques, and more. He has owned, operated, and managed a handful of art galleries, in addition to an AC company and a marble polishing business. Peter’s ability to see the big picture while simultaneously assessing critical details–including the seemingly invisible ones–is unparalleled. As a lifelong learner, food enthusiast, green advocate, and more, Peter brings unique balance and perspective to the Bean Scene team.
